1. X% of Y?

Calculate a percentage of a number. For example: "What is 20% of 500?" The answer is 100.

Formula: (Percentage × Number) ÷ 100

2. X is what % of Y?

Find what percentage one number is of another. For example: "50 is what % of 200?" The answer is 25%.

Formula: (Number1 ÷ Number2) × 100

3. Percentage Change from X to Y

Calculate the percentage increase or decrease between two numbers. For example: "Change from 100 to 120" is a 20% increase.

Formula: ((New Value - Old Value) ÷ Old Value) × 100

4. X +/- Y%

Add or subtract a percentage from a number. For example: "100 + 15%" equals 115.

Formula: Number ± (Number × Percentage ÷ 100)
